Chan Marshall, better known as Cat Power.
This was impulsive, but I don’t foresee any buyers remorse in my future.
Of the two shows Cat Power performed in NYC this week, this guy definitely went to the same concert I did. =)
That blurry thing crouching down about 3 feet infront of me… Chan Marshall
So this person went to see Cat Power at Webster Hall in NYC this week like me.
My friend told me about the show. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to see her perform Thursday. Her voice was beautiful as always. There were moments of frustration from her and as a result from the crowd. She had to keep going off to the side to talk with the sound guy, because her microphone was too loud, but she, at the same time, started singing less and less clearly. I had to struggle to recognize what song she was singing. =/
Vogue UK asked some fashion insiders what the soundtrack to their summer was. Nicholas Kirkwood said:
“I’d say Empire State of Mind by Kanye West and Alicia Keyes. I played it all last summer.”
The thing is Kanye West is not involved with that song. It’s Jay Z, dude.
Britney Spears’ Till the World Ends Remix (featuring Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha)
I saw Britney Spears in Atlantic City last Saturday, August 6th. It was fantastic! I was a fan when I was younger, when she came out with “…Baby One More Time.” I began to lose interest as I got older, but this concert revived my interest in her. It’s weird to think about all those years that have passed, and how much things have changed. Britney ended the concert with this song (minus Ke$ha). It was really fun and it felt incredible!
On top of that, Lady Gaga was there.
Pauly D is one of the opening acts for the tour. It would have been fitting for him to open at the Jersey Shore, but he didn’t.
