From a woman’s perspective, I believe she was frustrated from a number of factors. First of all, she had higher aspirations before meeting Dean and before having a child. She had to settle with a career shy of what she had dreamed of, because the circumstances in her life would not make that dream a practical option. To her and many women, that amounts to a lot of guilt. As women, we’re analytical. We always wonder about the what-ifs.
She was also dissatisfied with the fact that she was the primary financial provider. Many women have expectations of what should occur in life. Dean’s lack of ambition and tendency to be complacent with what he has makes her frustrated, because she feels that there are more obligations in life than just having a house and a family. She regrets settling with Dean. Everything he does will never be enough, because they will never see eye-to-eye about the same issues. He was also a bad influence on her daughter.
I’m disappointed that Ryan Gosling didn’t get nominated for an Oscar. I liked him more than Michelle Williams and Jesse Eisenberg.

I guess you could say this was the one that started it all. Before, the only music I had ever been introduced to was Cantopop and pop from the likes of Jacky Cheung, Leon Lai, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears. It was the song that led me to enjoy the rawness and beauty of the acoustic guitar. I still do.
